Tran is a concentrated oil produced mainly from the liver of Atlantic cod. It owes its valuable health-promoting properties to omega-3 fatty acids, as well as vitamins A and D. In this article you will find essential information about tranium.

.

Omne trinum perfectum - this is a Latin proverb saying that everything made up of three is perfect. Tranium is a supplement that most often has just three components - omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A and vitamin D. It takes so little to provide the body with so much good. From this article you will learn how cod liver oil works, who should take it and what are the contraindications to supplementation.

.

In this article you will learn:

  • What it is and what it contains
  • .
  • What types of fish oil there are
  • .
  • What are the health-promoting properties of cod liver oil, both for children and adults
  • .
  • How to sensibly and safely supplement the diet with cod liver oil (and when it is recommended)

Tran: what is it?

.

Tran is a concentrated oil made from the liver of Atlantic cod or other fish in the cod familyand. It is a type of supplement that provides us with omega-3 acids, vitamin A and vitamin D. You can take tranium in liquid form, capsules, drops, syrup and even gels.

.

Is there shark liver or whale liver oil?"

.

There is no shortage of manufacturers on the market who sell shark or whale liver 'oil'. In reality, it is not transshipment, but oils from the organs of these animals. More often than not, such oil has more omega-3 fatty acids than cod liver oil - true cod liver oil. Unlike cod-liver oil, however, there is no (or low doses of) vitamin A and D in the composition of other fish oils.

.
Tran is derived exclusively from the liver of Atlantic cod or other fish in this family. Other supplements produced from shark or whale liver are oils.

Tran - properties

.

Tran was once given to children in schools for a reason. Its numerous health-promoting properties have meant that cod liver oil is still very popular.

Reduces inflammation

.

Inflammation is a process that, among other things, helps the body to fight infection. However, when this condition persists over a long period of time, it can cause heart disease, for exampleand. Trane contains omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin A and D, which, research suggestsand, relieve inflammation.

What's more, people who are deficient in these vitamins are more prone to chronic stress. Tranium replenishes their concentration in the bodyand.

Reduces the risk of heart disease

.

Each year nearly 18 millionand people die from cardiovascular disease. Omega-3 fatty acids - the primary ingredient in cod liver oil - have been shown to have numerous benefits for heart health. How do they work?

    .
  • Lower blood triglyceridesand.
  • Reduce blood pressure .
  • .
  • Increase good cholesterol (HDL) .
  • .
  • Prevent  blood clots .
  • .

Influences on bone health

.

As we age, bone mass loss progressesand. Tranium - a source of vitamin D - can limit this process. Sunshine vitamin, as vitamin D is also called, positively affects the absorption of calcium - an essential mineral for bone healthand. Research  suggests, that adequate levels of calcium and vitamin D may reduce  bone mass loss in adults .

Collagen also has a positive effect on joint and bone health. Would you like to learn more about it?

.

Promotes eye health

.

One in four people in the world have eye problemsand. Research  suggests that omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin A (the main components of fish oil) prevent eye disease . What's more, omega-3s also reduce the risk of AMD (macular degeneration)and.

Helps treat depression

.

Depression is a common illness affecting an estimated 280 millionand people worldwide. Research  has linked it to chronic inflammation, which is prevented by omega-3 fatty acids. What's more, another study  suggests that regular supplementation with cod liver oil (cod liver oil) reduces symptoms of depression.

What are the other propertiesand of cod liver oil?

    .
  • Reduce joint pain (in cases of rheumatoid inflammation).
  • .
  • Improvement of cognitive function.
  • .

Tran for children

.

Omega-3 fatty acids influence the development of the brain and eyes of childrenand. Moreover, they also affect cardiovascular and cognitive function.

In turn, vitamin A primarily supports the immune system. The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends giving it to children from 6 to 59 monthsand of life. Vitamin D, in turn, prevents infections  or diabetes . These are just a few reasons why children should be supplementing with cod liver oil.

How does cod liver oil work for children?

When giving your child tranium, follow the manufacturer's dosage.

How to persuade a child to take tranquilizer?

Tran in liquid most often does not taste the best. Many children can quickly become discouraged by it, so capsules can be a good option. However, if your child has difficulty swallowing them, choose a liquid with the toddler's favourite taste.

Tran.

There is no shortage of preparations on the market that not only 'kill' the unpleasant taste, but also give a new one - such as raspberry or peach. Equally friendly for your child can be jellies, which will taste a whole lot better than the standard liquid fish oil. In addition, you also have syrups to choose from. In this case, too, it is worth adjusting the taste to your child's preferences.

Note!

.

Flavoured supplements usually contain large amounts of sugar. Its good equivalent, as a component of a tranny, can be sweeteners or maltodextrin.

Tran is not recommended to be given to children under one year of ageand.

.

How to dose cod liver oil for children?

.

Dosing of cod liver oil for children depends on the specific preparation. Before starting supplementation, it is a good idea to contact a specialist to monitor it. Keep in mind that your child also takes omega acids, as well as vitamin A and vitamin D with their diet, so supplements will not always be advisable.

Tran in pregnancy

.

Tran must not be taken during pregnancyand. Vitamin A, which is one of the components of these preparations, should not be supplemented by women expecting a baby.

On the other hand, omega-3 fatty acids are crucial for the neurological development of the foetus and the birth weight of the babyand. Therefore, pregnant women should consider taking separate supplements, such as omega-3 acids in tablets.

.
The Polish Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians does not recommend supplementing vitamin A during pregnancy. Furthermore, products rich in this vitamin should be avoided s. Vitamin A supplementation by expecting women should only take place under medical supervision.

Tran and breastfeeding

.

While breastfeeding, women should take 250 to 375 mg of EPA and DHA dailyand. Supplementation with omega acids prevents postnatal depressionand also improves cognitive development outcomes in children. All of these can be provided by cod-liver oil, but you should consult your doctor before starting supplementation.

Some women take adequate amounts of vitamin A with their diet - in which case tranium will not be necessary.

Tran - supplementation

.

Tran can be supplemented in various forms. Adults are most commonly offered capsules or liquid. The first option is recommended for those who have problems with the taste of tranium. The liquid, on the other hand, is an option for those who do not like swallowing capsules.

.
When choosing cod liver oil, pay attention to its quality. Check that the fish it was produced from were not caught in polluted waters. More often than not, it is not worth saving money - more expensive cod-liver oil is usually a higher quality supplement.

Who should take?

.

Tran is recommended to be taken primarily by children. It also works well for seniors who often have cardiovascular problemsand. Tranium can also be a great option for people who are not keen on fish (the main source of omega-3 fatty acids in the diet).

.
In addition to children, cod liver oil is worth giving to seniors, convalescents, and people following injury, illness or surgery.

Tran - dosage

.

Tran does not have a predetermined dosage. Preparations have different dosages of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A or vitamin E and these mainly determine the specific dosage. Always follow the recommendations of the manufacturer, doctor or pharmacist.

Morning or evening - when to take cod liver oil?

.

There is no best time to take cod liver oil. Its beneficial properties are linked to long-term supplementation. Some experts recommend that you take tranium before breakfastand. This can help to avoid an unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth.

.
In summer, it is advisable to dispense with cod liver oil, especially in children who spend a lot of time outdoors. In autumn and winter, on the other hand, supplementation with cod liver oil is advisable because it can prevent a drop in immunity.
