.

Vitamin A has positive effects on:

.
  • oxidative stressand,
  • .
  • sight problems ,
  • .
  • weakened immunity ,
  • facial skin (can prevent acne, for example) ,
  • hair growth ,
  • .
  • reproductive system of men  and women ,
  • skin health ,
  • tooth health ,
  • .

Remember that these are just a few selected properties of vitamin A. It also affects other processes in the body. And what can vitamin E offer us? It, too, influences skin health, has antioxidant effects and also supports immunity.

Vitamin E also supports:

  • skin - softens it, reduces dryness, and protects it from the effects of sunlightand,
  • .
  • cognitive function (for seniors and people with Alzheimer's) ,
  • lung function ,
  • .
  • healing of wounds ,
.
High doses of vitamin E are not recommended in men. There are indications that huge portions of it may increase the risk of prostate cancer. Other studies, however, suggest the use of vitamin E in the treatment and prevention of cancer.

Vitamin A+E for skin, face and hair - how to choose the best one?

.

Every vitamin A+E preparation supports the condition of the skin of the entire body, the complexion, as well as the hair. However, if you want to take special care of a selected area, it is worth paying attention to the additional active ingredients in dietary supplements.

A powerful ally of hair is biotinand. So if you're looking for a product to support them, bet on vitamin A+E with this ingredient. On the other hand, the best friend of facial skin and the whole body is collagen. It's an essential building proteinand, which is responsible for the elasticity, firmness and hydration of the skin.

Biotin can support those struggling with baldness.

.

How to dose vitamin A+E?

.

Vitamin A+E should always be dosed as recommended by the manufacturer, pharmacist or doctor. Do not exceed the suggested portions, as overdosing can result in serious health problems. Don't take in excess - it doesn't help, and may harm you.

.
A vitamin A overdose is very dangerous, especially during pregnancy. Excessive doses of this vitamin can be teratogenic - resulting in fetal retardation, premature birth and even death.
.

.

.

Vitamin A+E - how long to use?

.

Preparations with vitamin A+E z should be used until the deficiency is normalised. Therefore, after about 3-5 weeks of supplementation, it is advisable to have blood tests to show whether your body still needs these vitamins in such large quantities. Supplements with a prophylactic dose of these vitamins are an exception.

Remember that an excess of vitamin A and E is just as dangerous as a deficiency.

.
The prophylactic dose of vitamin A for an adult is 700-900 mcg. Vitamin E, on the other hand, should be taken at 8-10 mg. Supplements containing these amounts of the active substance, can be taken without time limitation.

.
. What impairs the absorption of vitamin B1? .

Antibiotics, hormonal contraceptives and some antacids, as well as excess caffeine, impair vitamin B1 absorption.

In contrast, the addition of vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamins B2 and B3, as well as manganese and magnesium improve the bioavailability of this vitamin.

. What does vitamin B1 help with? .

Vitamin B1, or thiamine, is one of the water-soluble B vitamins and is responsible for many processes in our body. It is involved in metabolic and biochemical changes, influences cell growth and development, neutralises free radicals and supports nervous system function.

. Is excess vitamin B1 harmful? .

Excess vitamin B1 is excreted in the urine, so it is difficult to overdose. Prolonged intake of high doses of vitamin B1 can cause muscle tremors, arrhythmia, dizziness and allergic reactions.

. Which vitamins to take for stress and nerves? .

Vitamin B1 supports memory and concentration, helps fight migraine pains, and stabilises mood. It's also worth reaching for riboflavin and niacin - they provide energy comfort for brain cells, minimise the risk of depressive states and low mood. Also check out the best tranquilliser tablets if needed.

. What are the symptoms of vitamin B1 deficiency? .

Vitamin B1 deficiency can manifest as fatigue, mood deterioration, tingling in the limbs, impaired vision, problems with logical thinking and concentration, as well as shortness of breath and nausea. Supplementation with vitamin B1 to reverse the serious effects of deficiency can take 3 to 6 months.

. Where is the most vitamin B1 available? .

The best sources of vitamin B1 are rice and oat bran, flax and sunflower seeds, whole grain bread, duck and goose meat, pork and legumes. If you want to supplement deficiencies or have an increased need for vitamin B1, consider supplementation, and discuss the dose with your doctor or nutritionist.

. What destroys vitamin B1? .

Vitamin B1 is broken down by thiaminase, an enzyme contained in raw fish and shellfish, among other things. Fortunately, heat treatment is sufficient for thiaminases to no longer be harmful to us.
