Media about us:

It used to be that celebrities advertised banks, mobile networks and food products. Now, influencers are promoting their products: Ekipa ice cream, Ania Lewandowska's power balls, Kinga Rusin's cosmetics. It is easy to dismiss such initiatives, especially when they concern our health.

.

Marita Surma, known as Deynn, joined the ranks of influencer-producers by presenting a series of collagen products. How has she fared?"

With an MSc in pharmacy and a PhD in medical science, I took Deynn's collagen series under the magnifying glass (and on the measuring tape). You'll see if you can count on a glowing complexion, shiny hair and functional joints... or if it's just another nicely packaged product with a sterile formulation and a hoofy smell (more on that in a moment).

The product is a great way to get a good feel for your skin.

.

From this article you will learn:

  • What are the collagens from Deynn
  • .
  • What quality are the compositions of these collagens
  • .
  • Which one is the best

When evaluating the products, we looked at:

    • Collagen content. According to scientific studiesand the most effective formulations contain 2.5-15 g of collagen hydrolysate.
    • Collagen content is the most effective.
    • Collagen type. For collagen to work and meet your needs, it must be of the right quality and best bioavailability - and fish collagen does.

.

  • Form of collagen. Thanks to scientific research, we know which forms are best absorbed so that the body gets the most benefit from the supplement. Pssst... It's hydrolysate.

.

  • Additional active ingredients. Some vitamins and minerals (especially vitamin C) support the synthesis or absorption of collagen and enhance the effects of the productand.
  • Purity of composition. We look at flavours, colours, preservatives and say a definite no to them.

.

  • User reviews. Declarations - declarations, but it is the users who best verify the manufacturer's promises of collagen performance. Here you will see the full criteria.

I have tried Collarose myself. What do I think

Collagen has a pleasant taste (but I'm not a kipper), dissolves well (doesn't stay on the bottom), and the high collagen content works (which is especially evident from the quality of the skin). Tighter facial skin, a reduction in fine lines near the eyes and more supple skin on the neck with less visible horizontal lines. I have tried many collagens and this one is high on my list alongside our own products Cacao Bloom and Rise&Shine.

Unreliable blood test results can lead to misdiagnosis of the disease and incorrect treatment. This includes tests for thyroid hormones, cortisol, vitamin D3 and insulin. Discontinue biotin supplements 7 days before the test.

Collagen is rich in amino acids, which the body needs to build keratin - the protein that forms hair. Too little collagen causes hair to deteriorate, becoming brittle and weak. Regular supplementation with collagen can improve their condition.

In the composition of Collarose caps there are unnecessary colourants of the cap. These could be replaced with natural ingredients such as safflower or curcuma.

Why does the manufacturer recommend as many as 6 capsules a day? Can't the active ingredients be "packed" into one capsule?

.
The capsules have a limited capacity - the manufacturer is not able to put as many active ingredients in one unit. It has put the ingredients in six to maintain the declared daily amount.

"Dissolved collagen is absorbed immediately after ingestion, whereas in the case of a capsule, the capsule must first disintegrate to release the collagen contained inside," adds the master pharmacist.
